BRANDON GATES, DVM, CVMA, CIVCA
Brandon Gates was born at Fort Sill Army Base in Oklahoma and raised in Texas. He recevied his degree in Animal Science and completed veterinary school at Colorado State University. He also completed an internship in livestock medicine and surgery and continued into a residency in comparative theriogenology (animal reproduction) at Oklahoma State University. His special interests include reproduction (neonatology and obstetrics), preventive medicine, infectious disease, hospice/palliative care, and integrative medical therapies. He is certified in veterinary medical acupuncture and animal chiropractic through the International Veterinary Chiropractic Association.
In his spare time, he enjoys hiking, camping, biking, fly fishing, playing sports, working with his Viszlas, and enjoying all the Flathead has to offer with his family.
K.C. GATES, DVM, PHD
K.C. Gates grew up in the Flathead Valley, and is happy to be back home after many years away. She recevied her undergraduate degree at Darmouth University and completed veterinary school at Colorado State University, in addition to a PhD in reproductive physiology. She has special interests in dentistry, nutrition, geriatric pets, behavior, and surgery, and is a Certified Pet Nutrition Coach.
In her free time she enjoys spending time outdoors with her family, which includes her husband Brandon, three kids, three dogs, two horses, and occasional foster pets.
